What can you expect from an Equivisions dressage to music clinic?
We offer the full package, everything you need to go out and compete in a dressage to music competition at whatever level you need. Our price includes arena hire too!
Way before the clinic day we find out all about you & your horse, so our top floor plan designers can work with you to come up with a floor plan which is not only inventive but highlights your strengths.
We have been designing floor plans for a very long time and we know how to put movements together which improve your horses way of going, highlight their strengths and impress the judges!
We also take full responsibility to ensure you have all the set movements included, none of the disallowed movements and you are within the minimum & maximum time allowed!
Don't worry if this sounds complicated because its our job as experts to ensure your floor plan meets all the the requirements whether you are competing in British Dressage, Riding Club, Pony Club or any governing body in the UK or abroad!
We also discuss your music preferences with you before the clinic. So we can come along with lots of ideas to show you whilst you watch your video and maybe suggest others too!
On the day you will ride a warmup running through your movements then you run through your test and it’s videoed for you. We film when you are at your best for the video to ensure your horse is not tired. Don't worry if you go wrong as we simply cut & paste the video!
Then its time to sit and relax and choose your music. This can be very emotional! Its lovely to sit & watch your horse moving to music. It's amazing to see how different types of music enhance your horses way of going whilst other types detract from it.
We have an extensive database of over 40,000 instrumental tracks which have all been catalogued into genre, artist & beats per minute! If you were to sit and listen none stop to all our tracks it would take you a whopping 4 months.
Julie has the most amazing memory for music, making connections between tracks to come up with lots of different freestyles using music from all the genres and from different eras. Julie also has an amazing ability to make your horse dance, knowing instantly when meeting you and your horse and discussing your preferences what will work for you and creating something beautiful.
Bring tissues! There may be tears!
A maximum of 3 weeks after your clinic you will receive a video of your floorpan with your music professional edited using Apple Logic Pro. This is a state of the art professional editing software.
Once approved by you we post out 2 competition CDs with all the info you need to complete your British Dressage paperwork.
There’s an option to have your music on a USB stick too and also a wrist speaker for practice!
